SPRING has SPRUNG!!!

Springtime is officially here!!! I LOVE the weather this time of year because that means lots of more time outside when we get home from work. Since I cant ride right now, Swayze gets lots of playtime with both Lee and I. Even with his bum leg that hurts him sometimes he can still run and play with the best of them!!! Its hard to believe that after an hour or two chasing the ball he still is rearing to go when we come back inside. This prego lady sure could use his energy!!! Heres a good pic of him just chillin and waiting on the ball to be thrown again. Dont let his cuteness fool you....hahaha. Also, Happy "late" Birthday Dad and Pappaw!!

Springtime also brings lots of new baby calves to "Todd Farms". Lee's been busy keeping up with all of the ear tagging and birthdates of all the new babies. The other day I got out with Lee in the pasture and saw all the adorable new babies!!!! We have about 40 cows right now and ten more babies that will be born in the next few months. Here are some pics of the cute little things........

Isnt she the sweetest little thing???

2 days old and spittin image of his daddy

Nicholas was the source of excitement around the house on Saturday, besides the AWESOME Tiger game of course. Mom and Dad came down to help us get some things done around the house and Nicholas had to come see Lee Todd and ride the tractor and four wheeler!!! We spent the day getting things in order for Kylers arrival. Tommorrow, Mom and Dad are coming and getting the nursery bedding and window treatments in place and I cant wait to see it all. THANKS, ahead of time, Mom and Dad for all your help getting everything done!!!!
Kyler Todd update.......we had our thirty week appointment today and everything is going GREAT!! Kyler is growing like a weed and is now up to 3 pounds, which is a half pound bigger than 2 weeks ago. All our pregnancy books say they should be 3 pounds this week, so he is right on target!!!! We also had a BPP (biophysical profile test) and NST (non stress test) done today and Kyler performed wonderfully...haha. On his BPP test he had thirty minutes to complete four different tasks and he was done in the first five minutes!!! Such a good little student. He definitely takes after his Daddy in that aspect. From now until his arrival we will be going back once a week for these two tests and to make sure my blood pressure stays under control. So far, my BP hasnt been a problem so we pray it stays that way!!! I am so excited about Mrs. Dene and Little Headys shower this weekend and cannot wait to see what kind of goodies we get for Kyler!!!
