Lee's Huntin' LOOT!!!

So, deer season has come and gone. However, I had to post some pics of the "monster" that Lee killed when he and Brandon took a trip to Missouri for a week. They hunted everyday for a week and finally on the last day they both killed a deer!!! The deer Lee killed was the largest he had ever shot, so he went straight to the taxidermist when he got home. We went and picked the deer from Mr. B.J. on Saturday and he looks AWESOME!!! We hung him this morning and it looks really good. I didnt post any of him in comparison to mine because it makes mine look like a sissy.....haha!!!
This is a pic when Lee got home from MO.
And this is after.......he is really pretty, and Lee
is soooo proud to have him finally
hanging on the wall!!!
Now on to turkey season.....this is Lee's favorite hunting season. From the day turkey season opens Lee is on the "prowl" for a turkey to kill. This year has been no different, and he finally killed one at our friend Ky's house in Ripley on Friday!!! As you can see, he is very proud of this kill also. Since he can "legally" kill two more turkey, then he will be going non-stop until those two are killed. Stay tuned to see what happens with the rest of the season......

Pic #2

We had our first shower for Kyler today, so I will get pics up in the next couple days.......I PROMISE!!!

SPRING has SPRUNG!!!

Springtime is officially here!!! I LOVE the weather this time of year because that means lots of more time outside when we get home from work. Since I cant ride right now, Swayze gets lots of playtime with both Lee and I. Even with his bum leg that hurts him sometimes he can still run and play with the best of them!!! Its hard to believe that after an hour or two chasing the ball he still is rearing to go when we come back inside. This prego lady sure could use his energy!!! Heres a good pic of him just chillin and waiting on the ball to be thrown again. Dont let his cuteness fool you....hahaha. Also, Happy "late" Birthday Dad and Pappaw!!

Springtime also brings lots of new baby calves to "Todd Farms". Lee's been busy keeping up with all of the ear tagging and birthdates of all the new babies. The other day I got out with Lee in the pasture and saw all the adorable new babies!!!! We have about 40 cows right now and ten more babies that will be born in the next few months. Here are some pics of the cute little things........

Isnt she the sweetest little thing???

2 days old and spittin image of his daddy

Nicholas was the source of excitement around the house on Saturday, besides the AWESOME Tiger game of course. Mom and Dad came down to help us get some things done around the house and Nicholas had to come see Lee Todd and ride the tractor and four wheeler!!! We spent the day getting things in order for Kylers arrival. Tommorrow, Mom and Dad are coming and getting the nursery bedding and window treatments in place and I cant wait to see it all. THANKS, ahead of time, Mom and Dad for all your help getting everything done!!!!
Kyler Todd update.......we had our thirty week appointment today and everything is going GREAT!! Kyler is growing like a weed and is now up to 3 pounds, which is a half pound bigger than 2 weeks ago. All our pregnancy books say they should be 3 pounds this week, so he is right on target!!!! We also had a BPP (biophysical profile test) and NST (non stress test) done today and Kyler performed wonderfully...haha. On his BPP test he had thirty minutes to complete four different tasks and he was done in the first five minutes!!! Such a good little student. He definitely takes after his Daddy in that aspect. From now until his arrival we will be going back once a week for these two tests and to make sure my blood pressure stays under control. So far, my BP hasnt been a problem so we pray it stays that way!!! I am so excited about Mrs. Dene and Little Headys shower this weekend and cannot wait to see what kind of goodies we get for Kyler!!!

Crawfish Boil and Kyler's New Goodies!!!

After Lee went turkey hunting this morning, we decided to head down to the factory stores in Tunica. Needless to say, we came home with tons of clothes for Kyler!!! We raided the Carter's store and bought sleepers, onesies and tons of cute shorts and shirts for the summer. He is gonna look sooooo handsome in all his new stuff!! A few of these things we already had before today, but I wanted everyone to see the great stuff that Kyler has already gotten.

Osh Kosh outfits (too cute!!)

Sorry, but I had to get him something pink :)

Carhartts and deer hunting shirt.......of course from
Uncle Bubba and Aunt Amy

Ole Miss Rebel stuff, the shirt was Lee's when
he was little........now if we could just find some Tiger
clothes to with all this stuff!!
Lee had some of the guys over for a crawfish boil this weekend. He usually has two cookings a year, and the first one is always on the opening day of turkey season. The second is usually for his birthday, but that may be postponed until Kyler gets a little older.

In case you were wondering, the crew all made it to St Croix safely!!! Although, after a plane delay leaving town they barely made there flight in Charlotte. Needless to say, they made the flight with minutes to spare. However, they arrived in St. Croix at about 3 yesterday afternoon and their luggage didn't get there until 3 today!!!! Those of you who know momma know that she was probably "beside" herself til that luggage got there.....hahaha. Anyway, if yall are reading this down on the island I hope yall are having a BLAST......LOVE YOU!!!

Just another Thursday......

Not much has been going on around here this week!!! Lee has been sick for the past couple days and I have been studying for my Praxis test this weekend. Its really hard, but I hope it goes well :) Lee is fired up about turkey season starting this weekend and having all his buddies over for a crawfish boil!! Kylers bedding will be done in a couple of weeks, and I cannot wait to get everything all set up!! For now we are busy getting our house in order and reorganized for his arrival.

We just got back from dinner with mom and dad and are tivoing Greys Anatomy and fixing to watch it. We went to dinner so we could see them before they leave for St. Croix!! On Saturday, Mom, Dad, Amy, JJ, Mary Kay, Pam and Jerry are headed down to visit Lil Kate and Daniel. I know they are gonna have sooooo much fun and have lots of good stories!!! Katie~keep an eye on my crazy family and dont let them have too much fun. I miss you and wish I was coming with them to see you but need to save my vacay for Kyler's arrival :)

KYLER LEE TODD!!!!!!

As many of you know, we are expecting our first baby boy Kyler Lee Todd sometime around the beginning of June!!!!! Things have been going great with my pregnancy and Kyler is growing like a weed. We had our 28 week appointment today and he is a whopping 2lbs. 8ounces!! So far we are on track with his original due date which is June 6th, unless he comes before then.

We had a 4d ultrasound today, but couldnt get anything but profile pics!! He had both feet and hands in his face the whole time and wanted no part of the pics (just like his Daddy...haha ). I think the pics look just like Lee. We were able to see a little bit of hair also :)

28 week belly bump......only 12 weeks to go!!!

Rascal Flatts and SNOW DAY!!!

So what can I say, Ame and I really, really love Rascal Flatts!!!! It really embarassing to say this, but this was our fourth time to see them!! Everytime we go to one of their concerts we say we arent going back again.............fast forward to last Thursday night are here we are again. Only this time we had our five year old nephew Nicholas in tow (not to mention Heather, JJ, Mary Kay, Brett and Bradley). Nicholas has been in love with them since the movie Cars and he had a blast!! We ate dinner at Kooky Kanucks and then headed to the Forum for the concert. Nicholas was a trooper and "hung" with us until it was over at 11:00!!!

Heather and Nicholas outside the Forum!!
On Saturday the 1st of March we had our first "big" snow of the year!! Being pregnant and not wanting to fall I didnt venture out much, but did get out and let Swayze play for a little while.
